The value contrast around the face is too soft, while the bright clothing details pull the eye. Darken the background near the head and reduce contrast on the clothes.

I lowered the background and increased contrast near the face. Should I simplify the hair shading too?

For now, only clarify the shadow around the eyes and the main shape of the bangs. The rest can stay soft.
I clarified the eye shadows and grouped the bangs. Is there anything awkward left before I finish?
Second revision
The eye now lands on the face first. Blend the two marked edges and the piece will feel much more resolved.
